Pakworks was established in 2000 as a pioneering joint project with Simba. Recognising the immense potential of localised, focused management, a strategic decision was made to transfer the Heilbron peanut and extruded snack operations to a dedicated local team.
In November 2022, Pakworks entered a transformative era when Sakhumnotho Group Holdings acquired an 85% majority stake in the business. This strategic acquisition represents a powerful alignment of our on-the-ground manufacturing expertise with robust investment foresight
